April 4 Vernon Chorale

The Vernon Chorale, an auditioned community chorale, from Vernon, CT, is presenting Vivaldi's "Gloria" on Saturday, April 19th, 2008, at 7:30 p.m. at Concordia Lutheran Church, 40 Pitkin St., Manchester, CT.

Accompanying the Vernon Chorale for the Vivaldi performance will be a professional chamber orchestra. Both the Vernon Chorale and Chamber Orchestra will be directed by Ehren Brown, the Artistic Director of the Vernon Chorale.

In addition to Vivaldi, the Vernon Chorale will be performing works by Finzi, R.Vaughn Williams, Bruckner, Brahms, and Part.

The Vernon Chorale is in it's 27th year, the past two years under the direction of Mr. Brown. The Chorale performs most of its concerts at the First Congregational Church of Vernon, and occasionally other venues as for this concert.

Tickets for this concert are available at the door, suggested donations are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and students.
